Kirsty MacVicar is a Scottish actor based in Glasgow and is passionate about exploring the vulnerability of humans. She believes that we, as humans, can connect on a deeper level through experiences, feelings and emotions and considers that theatre helps do this.
Currently in 3rd year of Acting & Performance at New CLan Arts, she is excited to see her journey into the industry and to show what she can bring.
Throughout college, Kirsty has performed in multiple productions most recently was 'The Real Estate' by Freddie Machin in 2024 where she performed as 'Annie' & 'Roberta' directed by Kirsty Stuart.
She has also performed in 'The Clink' by Stephen Jeffries as 'Zanda' directed by Francis Lyons in 2023 and 'After Juliet' by Sharman MacDonald, directed by Kirsty Stuart where she played the role of 'Rosaline'.
She has also performed in the Fringe in 2023 in Anam Alba's Auld Lang Sing, a musical storytelling of Scotland's rich history.
COMING UP
She is currently in rehearsals for 'Orca by Matt Grinter, directed by Francis Lyons, where she will play the role of 'Maggie'. This will be performed on the 9th, 10th & 11th May 2025.
